# Military Academy Admission Requirements

A. General Requirements
1. Indonesian citizen.
2. Believe in and be devoted to God Almighty, by adhering to one of the six religions recognized in Indonesia or as a believer in beliefs.
3. Loyal to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.
4. Minimum age 17 years 9 months and maximum 22 years at the time of the opening of the first education, which is August 1, 2023.
5. Have no criminal record, as evidenced by a certificate from the police.
6. Physically and mentally healthy, and do not wear glasses.
7. Not currently losing the right to become a soldier based on a court decision that has permanent legal force.
B. Special Requirements
1. Male/female candidates are not members or former TNI/Polri soldiers and civil servants.
2. Have a high school/MA diploma with a science or social studies program and meet the average score that will be determined later.
3. Have never been married and are willing to not marry during the first education until one year after completing it.
4. Minimum height of 163 cm for men and 157 cm for women, with a balanced weight according to applicable regulations.

# C. Additional Requirements
In the process of accepting TNI AD soldiers, there are several additional requirements that must be met. First, prospective participants must include a letter of consent from their parents or guardians. During the admission process, no intervention from any party is permitted towards the admissions committee or education organizers, in any form, at any time, and anywhere.
Remedial grades will not be accepted, and for those who obtain diplomas from abroad or educational institutions that are not under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Culture, they must obtain approval from the Ministry of Education and Culture or the local Education Office. Prospective participants must also be free from tattoos or tattoo marks, and must not have piercings or piercing marks, unless this is due to religious or customary provisions.
Prospective soldiers must be willing to comply with regulations related to corruption, collusion, and nepotism (KKN) both directly and indirectly. If proven to have violated the law, they are willing to be declared to have failed or be expelled from Military Education for those whose violations are discovered later. After completing initial training, Cadets will be promoted to Corporal Cadet (Koptar). This rank is held for 9 months in advanced education, with a composition of 70% field training and 30% material.
3. Cadet Sergeant (Sertar)
Entering the second year, students will receive the rank of Cadet Sergeant (Sertar) which will be held for 12 months.
4. Cadet Sergeant Major Second Class (Serdatar)
In the third year, Cadets will be promoted to the rank of Cadet Sergeant Major Second Class (Serdatar), which will also be held for 12 months.
5. Cadet Sergeant Major First Class (Sermatutar)
The last rank for Cadets is Cadet Sergeant Major First Class (Sermatutar) which is obtained in the fourth year.
